About The Artist
Cassandra Speicher is a self-taught artist from Windber, PA. She currently resides in Pittsburgh.
Her work has been shown in several local galleries, restaurants, and other businesses, including her ‘headquarters’ at Coffee Buddha in Pittsburgh, PA where she has hosted art events, galleries, and classes.
Cassandra has worked as head of art-direction on several independent films and is capable of improvising and working in a wide range of artistic mediums and craft work.
Having grown up in a small town, Cassandra’s artistic inclination is accredited to her sense of resourcefulness and her want to give purpose to over-looked or unwanted materials.

I have a painting of Cassandra’s hanging in my classroom. Every year, a new crop of students ask me about the painting and express how much they love it. Cassandra is truly an amazing artist and I am lucky enough to have one of her paintings that she created while she was in high school.
